ΣΚΑΜΑΝΔΡΙΟΣ

1. The son of Hector and Andromache, whom the people of Troy called Astyanax, because his father was the protector of the city of Troy. (Hom. Il. vi. 402 ; Plat. Cratyl. p. 392; Strab. xiii. p. 607.)

2. A Trojan, a son of Strophius. (Hom. Il. v. 49.)
